Great performance, absolutely horrid venue
The great Tull Project was. NEVER however another event at Prudential Center attend will I. Arrived with a party of 5. I spent $1500 for a family night out in crime infested Newark. The entry guard (far right gate) who smelled drunk looked at all of us, three were women with bags. He said two of the bags were ok but the other was too large to be allowed in. We walked the bag back to the car lot a half mile away and got on the back of the line again. When we got to the same drunken guard, he decided that one of the remaining two bags (of a 68 year old woman…) was too large as well. After arguing the point and being tempted to knock this guy out flat at that point, we tried getting an $8 locker (complete scam) and got the last one after almost needing to physically wrestle for it. By the time we got in missed the majority of the opening act. The guard was pulling people out of line and sending them back to lots in the middle of a bad area of Newark left and right. He was telling them 4” x 5” bags and smaller was ok. The info received from Ticketmaster and the venue specified 4” x 7” bags were fine. They don’t know what they are doing, are too incompetent to get me back in their doors ever again, and their guard (far right at outside of entry) stank like whiskey. I’ve been told to seek at least a partial refund from either Ticketmaster or the venue. I think I’ll just stop giving both business instead. Incompetent twits."
